How to use
  • Lens Type: Choose converging (focuses rays) or diverging (spreads rays).
  • Focal Length: Distance from lens to focal point (positive for converging).
  • Object Distance: How far the object is from the lens.
  • Object Height: Size of the object.
  • Experiment with convex (converging) and concave (diverging) lenses. Adjust the focal length, object distance, and height to see how images form in real time. The diagram uses principal rays to display image location, orientation, and magnification.
  • Diagram: Yellow = Object, Green = Real Image, Dashed Green = Virtual Image, Blue = Lens/Focal points.
